Soulmate Suicide

I lost my soulmate on the 6th October by Suicide, there are no words to express the loss, apart from I feel my heart has been ripped out of my chest. That the sun to my life has been taken away
She was so young only 29 the most beautiful being I’ve ever met
Yet mental health in our last year changed it all
How am I meant to cope without my one true love ?

Hello Lion,

I am so very sorry to hear that you lost your soulmate to suicide in October. This must be such a difficult time for you and it's understandable that you're feeling the way that you do.

There are others in this community who have experienced a similar loss and I'm sure you'll get some supportive replies soon. Whilst you're waiting why don't you have a look at some of the other posts in the Losing a Partner category and, perhaps, reply to one or two?

I hope you find the support you're looking for here. Take care of yourself and give me a shout if there's anything I can do for you.

With best wishes,
Eleanor

Hello Lion, my deepest condolences for what I imagine to be possibly the worst way to lose a loved one. If you look around this forum, you'll see many people asking how they are supposed to cope. And it's okay that you don't know; coping will become clearer to you as you go. I hope you have good supports in your life, and will come here as often as you need to. I completely re.late to the heart torn from your chest feeling. Lion, please also Google "Ask Dr. Neimeyer" - grief specialist Robert Niemeyer answers letters from many people who have experienced what you have. I find his advice truly compassionate and helpful.

Take the best care you can at this very sad time,

Louise

Hi
It’s been 2
Months and I feel it is worse and worse
Maybe it’s xmas coming up and our anniversary but the idea that I am alone
My friends are great but they are getting in with their lives
I feel so alone at home I sleep a lot
I hope that I am not the only one who deals with this
Feeling depressed
Lost can’t focus on anything
Actually don’t know how to cope

Lion
